Good Health for Life Entrepreneurship Center Process |
SELECTION The Good Health for Life Selection Committee approves applications and assigns a Mentor to help develop and execute a business plan. The Mentor’s mission is to bring together the essential players necessary to execute the plan – which may include providers of capital, a professional staff, and management team candidates. |
PLANNING Successful entrepreneurs know where they are going, and the one thing that takes them there is a solid business plan that attracts investors. Mentors help entrepreneurs sharpen their plan and have it reviewed by a panel of experts in marketing, finance, banking, and venture capital. |
STAFFING Reach for A Star volunteers in conjunction with our Resource Partners, provide Good Health for Life Entrepreneurs with a staffing resource center providing skills including office services, accounting, engineering, information technology, mentoring, law, science, marketing, light industrial, education, restaurants and health care. |
Healthcare professionals introduce Good Health for Life programs to qualified patients and distribute applications to those interested in learning more. |
EXECUTION All the pieces come together here. Good Health for Life harnesses a talent pool of desire by offering programs, partnerships and initiatives that provide both aspiring and already-established entrepreneurial cancer survivors with knowledge, resources and tools to help them start and grow their own businesses. |
